The Director of Graduate Studies of AUT Reported on Attendance of AUT Graduate Students this Semester

The first semester of the academic year 2020-2021 shall began in a hybrid format and Master’s Degree and Ph.D. students shall come to the university for 3 weeks. Registration of the first-year students will be carried out with a delay and it starts from the end of October. Dr. Kolahdoozan, Director of graduate studies indicated: AUT has more than 6000 graduate students and the ratio of Master’s Degree students to Ph.D. students is 2 to 1. Every year about 1500 new master’s degree students and 300 Ph.D. students are admitted to this university.
The director of graduate studies of AUT stated: last semester the theses and dissertations of the Master’s Degree and Ph.D. Programs were defended in a hybrid model, i.e. online and in-person.
Dr. Kolahdooz expressed: The colleges were asked to carry out the required schedule for using laboratories through observing the health protocols so that the students can benefit from the equipment for advancing their research programs.
